A surprising number of radios are mistakenly presented as made by Jackson-Bell

There is definite proof that Jackson-Bell went into receivership on December 2, 1932.
Radios that appear with their identity long after Jackson-Bell's demise are a suspect. Some even have obvious evidence of having been made by an entirely different company. How this came about will be explored in detail in this blog post.

We've all seen radios that have been altered since they left the factory. When those changes include nameplates and other identifiers, we begin to question the sets authenticity.
