OVERVIEW
General Information:

Model 4 - Peter Pan Jewel Box

The Model 4 chassis replaced the Model 84 chassis. This four-tube TRF had newer tubes. Like its predecessor, the first chassis version had no tone control, but the later chassis version incorporated one. Performance is modest but adequate for local stations using a short antenna. The translucent, back-lighted dial is calibrated in Kilocycles.

Below is a link to the "Jackson Bell Goes Small In A Big Way" article from the Spring/Summer issue of the SCARS Gazette. The text goes into great detail about this set and the rest of Jackson-Bell's midget line-up.

Schematics can be found in the Service Information link below.

Jackson-Bell 4 - Jewel Box Cabinet:

Jackson-Bell was a master at packaging and merchandising. The same chassis would be packaged in many cabinet styles, with many brandings for other dealers.

This “Jewel Box” Cabinet has the same Peter Pan Grillwork as the Tombstone Models.
