Jackson-Bell  Model 25

The Model 25 chassis is a midget superheterodyne.  The unusual design has an R.F. Amplifier, followed by an Autodyne Frequency Changer, with a Detector, there is no I.F. Amplifier.

The Pandora uses the last chassis Version with A.V.C. (Automatic Volume Control). The chassis also features a full-range Tone Control

Performance is decent, adequate for local stations, and some DX using a short antenna. The Translucent, back lighted dial is calibrated from 0 to 100. Jackson-Bell made this feature,

Jackson-Bell 25, Pandora Cabinet:

This cabinet does have an exposed Logging Card, and a cigarette box.
The speaker is in the cabinet end. The radio can be played with the lid shut.
