The Flint Model 84 - Peter Pan
The acquisition of the Flint Radio Company in 1931 gave Jackson-Bell superheterodyne and midget technologies. In turn, Flint benefited from Jackson-Bell's marketing reach and manufacturing capabilities. The "Peter Pan" brand was successful in the United States and overseas markets.
This cabinet design was marketed under both the Jackson-Bell and Flint names. Jackson-Bell replaced the Flint transformer wiring with a transformer plug as a manufacturing and maintenance improvement.
A link to the "Jackson Bell Goes Small In A Big Way" article from the Spring/Summer issue of the SCARS Gazette appears below. The text goes into great detail about this set and the rest of Jackson-Bell's midget line-up.
